This policy explains how AdventureLink handles personal data while the product is in invite-only early access.
Data We Collect
We collect account, profile, onboarding, waitlist, invite, event, group, chat, notification, report, analytics, and device data needed to operate AdventureLink.
Some data is provided directly by you. Some is generated when you use the app, such as activity records, notification preferences, and security logs.
How We Use Data
We use data to provide the app, manage early-access invites, personalize discovery, operate chat and groups, protect users, send notifications, investigate abuse, and improve reliability.
We do not sell personal data. Optional Umami analytics are opt-in and are used to understand product health and early-access activation. Alpha session diagnostics operate separately, as described below.
Alpha Session Diagnostics
During alpha testing, DJED Sessions diagnostics can record eligible signed-out and signed-in visits to help us reproduce usability and reliability problems. When enabled, this diagnostic capture runs without an additional consent prompt and independently of your optional analytics preference.
Diagnostics can retain visible page content, screen layout, navigation and interaction events, and non-password form entries so operators can understand what happened. Password values and hidden security fields are masked. Network diagnostics retain sanitized status and timing, and console content is masked. Credentials and invitation tokens are removed from recorded URLs. Canvas capture is disabled.
Session recordings are private, available only to authorized project operators, and retained for seven days.
Your Controls
You can update profile information, manage notification preferences, export account data, unsubscribe from waitlist emails, and request account deletion from the app.
Deletion requests use a 30-day grace period so accidental requests can be cancelled before purge processing begins.
Retention
We retain active account data while your account exists, waitlist data while early access is being administered, and security records as needed to protect the service.
When an account deletion request becomes eligible for purge, AdventureLink removes or anonymizes personal data unless retention is required for security, legal, or abuse-prevention reasons.
